NEW LOCATION: 331 N Post St, Spokane
Across from Riverfront Park, near City Hall
Mobius Science Center is an engaging inquiry-based learning environment. Students learn as they explore and experiment with hands-on science exhibits. Your adventure at Mobius begins with a one hour dissection workshop. After the workshop you will probably want to spend about one hour on a self-guided exploration of the Science Center's exhibit space. We do not stay together as a group after the workshop so you are free to explore all that Mobius has to offer on your own.
Dissection - Squid. March 10 at 10 am.
Dissecting a squid can be in inky business. Discover how these marine creatures navigate the oceans and what makes them different from those of us that live above the waves. One of the best parts? Paint with the squid ink when you’re done with the dissection!
Dissection - Cow Eyeball. March 28 at 10 am.
Why do cow eyes glow at night? Do they have different eye colors? Learn the answers to these questions and discover similarities between their eyes and ours, while dissecting a real eyeball! Through this ooey-gooey workshop, you will learn each piece of the eye and see how they all work together to give us sight.
