For his birthday, Nick has a really hard choice to make. He can either go to the beach or visit the animals at the farm. But what he’d really like to do is take the farm animals to the beach! Oh what fun that would be! Nick imagines what it would be like to have a horse, pig, cow and other farm animals with him as he and his family take a trip to the beach. They surf, they swim, they snorkel and they even snack on s’mores! At the end of the day, we are left to wonder, was it all just apart of Nick’s imagination . . . or did it actually happen!
Life on the farm is great, particularly for the Horse and Hound who are the best of friends. Then, one day, a sly Fox moves into their quiet valley and begins stealing from their farm! This makes the Horse and Hound very angry. But after the Fox does a kind deed for the Hound, what will they do? Will the Fox, the Horse and the Hound ever become friends? With vibrant, charming watercolor illustrations, The Adventures of the Fox, the Horse and the Hound is sure to engage and delight children of all ages!
For Christmas, Jack wants nothing more than to find homes for him and his three friends. But for old toys such as a jack-in-the-box, a teddy bear, a music box and a toy soldier, finding a home is hard. After their toy store closes on Christmas Eve, Jack is left to ponder another year (maybe forever!) without a home. But after a mysterious appearance by Santa Claus and a Magical Toy Box meant just for them, Jack and his friends' true histories are revealed and their ultimate destiny determined.
Poor Logan can’t sleep! A scary thunderstorm is making all sorts of rumbly, grumbly noises. Logan wanders through her home to see how the rest of her family is doing. But will she ever be able to overcome her fear and fall back asleep? Using vivid fonts and colors to highlight keywords, “Logan and the Rumbly, Grumbly Sky” engages your child in Logan’s journey as she discovers that a home and family can help lessen any fear you may have.
