Vicky Dalton, the Spokane County Auditor, is your enthusiastic tour guide for this important field trip. Since the General Election is November 7, her office will be in full post-election frenzy. Although the Spokane County Auditor's Office is responsible for the administration of the Recording, Financial Services, Motor Vehicle Licensing and Elections Divisions, this tour will focus on local elections. The primary functions of these diverse divisions are the recording and preservation of all public records which are required by law to be recorded, the integrated financial management of all activities of Spokane County, conduct all Elections for the county in accordance with state law and the issuance of vehicle and vessel licenses for the County.
Tour limit: 40 people max
Ages: The content of this program is designed for students in grades 7-12 however all ages are welcome as long as they can be quietly attentive.
Cost: Free for kids and adults - if you show up. There is a $5 registration fee per student that will be fully refunded after the trip, as long as you show up.
Payment is required in advance via Paypal, credit card, debit card, check, or cash. There is no "Pay at the Door." Your reservation is confirmed when payment is received.
Cancellation Policy: You can have a full refund if you contact Exploring Families 3 days before the event. There is no refund if you cancel after that.
