Four Mound Prairie Bison Ranch
15420 W Four Mound Road, Nine Mile Falls, WA
Going west on Seven Mile Road, it becomes Four Mound Road. Turn right onto the ranch at the bison statue. Map
While you enjoy a hay ride around the ranch through the herd, you’ll see how a rancher works his bison. You may even be able to see calves among the cows. Since bison are wild not domesticated animals, you'll be fascinated by the specialized corral system the rancher has developed. You’ll have a Q&A time with the rancher so gather your questions. (What is the difference between bison and buffalo anyway?)
Age: All ages are welcome but children must be quiet and attentive during the rancher’s presentation. Loud kids will scare away the bison but quiet kids will be able to get close.
$12 per person, ages 3+. Free for ages 0-2.
