What is geocaching?
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. - Geocache Guide and Video
How Cache Advance Started:
Lisa B. is the President and CEO of Cache Advance, Inc. She is also known as Lookout Lisa. Lisa has been geocaching for over 9 years, with over 180 hides and now over 6,300 finds. She is past president (2 years) of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Washington State Geocaching Association (WSGA). Lisa created and designed Dr. B's Cache Repair Kits in 2005 as a fun project to fill up her spare time (when she's not out caching!) and to help promote responsible caching. Lisa had so much fun with the Repair Kits, that she designed Dr. B's Newbie Kits, and Dr. B's Canine Repair Kits too! All of our Dr. B's products, and many more are designed and assembled right here. We are the official manufacturers of the Vehicle Travel Bugs -Decals, Clings and Magnets. These are manufactured right here in Spokane.

- Provide opportunities for participants to enjoy geocaching and to socialize with other geocachers.
- Educate park systems and land managers about geocaching and its benefits.
- Increase awareness and support of geocaching through interaction with other outdoor groups and the public.
