When you think of sewing machines, you may think of a simple and quaint machine that your grandmother worked on. Think again! Many of today's machines are high tech computers! On this high tech "tour" of the Viking Sewing Gallery you'll learn about the different types of machines made by Husqvarna/Viking and Singer, from basic mechanical sewing machines to computerized sewing machines. You'll see a demonstration of embroidery (computerized) machines, sergers, and quilting machines. After the tour, you'll get to use one of the Gallery's machines to make and take a humbug bag!
Cost: $22 per person. All supplies included. There will be several fabrics to choose from for your humbug bag.
Note: Some students will use mechanical sewing machines and some will use computerized machines to make the humbug bag. The instructor will assign you a machine to use when you arrive.
Tour limits: 4 students minimum, 6 students maximum
