Come stroll a mile through Coeur d'Alene with local Historian Robert Singletary as Peter Sorensen, Steamboat Captain and General William Carlin, Commander of Fort Sherman. You'll discover the rich history of the Coeur d'Alene region! You will want to visit the Museum of North Idaho before or after the walking tour. Museum admission and parking is included in the price of the walking tour. The Museum, which is open 11 am - 5 pm, is wheelchair accessible.

Ages: This presentation is designed for students in grades 1-12 however everyone is welcome.
What to wear/bring:
- The walking tour is outside so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
- You may want to bring spending money for the Museum Store. The Museum Store features a wide selection local history books, locally made silver jewelry, souvenirs and gift items.
Cost of Walking Tour, Museum Admission, and Parking:
$13 per person, ages 6 - 106.
Free for ages 0-5.Upon arrival to the Museum please request a free parking voucher from the desk.
Note: Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome! The walk covers about 1 mile.
Tour limit: 20 people
Payment is required in advance via Paypal, credit card, debit card, or check. There is no "Pay at the Door." Your spots with our group are saved when payment is received. Payment is due upon registration. If payment is not received, your reservation will be cancelled.
Cancellation Policy: You can have a full refund if you contact Exploring Families one week before the activity. There is no refund if you cancel within one week of the activity.
