Friday, August 29, 10:00 am - 11:00 am (or whenever you want to finish)
The Saint George's School Story Trail is located on the property of St. George's School, 2929 West Waikiki Road, Spokane. Map/Directions/Parking
This is the FIRST ever reading nature trail in Spokane, built and maintained by students! FREE to the public and sponsored by Saint George's School. Every month they put out a new story to read. Read about it in the Spokesman Review here. We will meet at the trail head, next to the sign that says, "Saint George's School Story Trail." We will hike the ¼ mile Story Trail and read the pages of the story along the way. After the Story Trail, your family can continue hiking with us through the hills and forests behind St. George's School on Riverside State Park trails. Saint George's School is adjacent to Riverside State Park land. The Riverside State Park trail is out and back, so simply turn around whenever you need to.
What to bring: camera, comfortable walking shoes, weather appropriate clothes, water.
Ages: All who can hike a trail, some parts are a little steep, but even your littlest ones will enjoy this short loop Story Trail. This trail is not designed for strollers or wheelchairs.
