Spokane Valley Tech
115 S. University Road, Spokane Valley, WA
Come see the exciting STEM activities that high school students are doing in preparation for their future careers. Students will be doing mini-presentations to showcase what they are studying in each of these areas: advanced biomedical, advanced engineering, advanced bioengineering, aerospace and advanced manufacturing, computer science and app development, business and entrepreneurship, and sports medicine.
*Disclaimer: Spokane Valley Tech is a public school where homeschoolers (home-based instruction students who file a Declaration of Intent) and public school students can take classes. Exploring Families does not recommend or promote one type of education over another. The goal with this tour is not to endorse SVT. We have simply have found local students studying interesting topics and these students are willing to share their research with us. When we find high schoolers or college students at a robotics club, 4-H, Boy Scouts, fine arts class, or anywhere else who are willing to do worthwhile presentations, we will offer that as an educational event for our members and guests. Recommendations are always welcome.
Tour limit: 25 students
