Although we may take clean water for granted, we have our the wastewater scientists and technicians to thank. Come discover all they do to provide water that is safe for our whole ecosystem. You'll learn how their equipment works and why its so important to keep our environment flowing with healthy water.
- to protect human health and the environment through the efficient, cost-effective collection and treatment of it's wastewater
- to dispose treated effluent into the Spokane River such that existing water quality is maintained and its beneficial uses are not lessened
- to produce and dispose of the highest quality Biosolids in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Ages: This program is designed for students in grades 5-12. Children in grades 4 and under are not permitted, due to safety reasons.
